The wizard of Oz spun the final fairytale at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, as he led Australia to an innings and 99-run victory in the fourth Ashes Test.
Shane Warne crowned his farewell appearance at his home ground by becoming the first player to reach 700 Test wickets in Australia's emphatic three-day victory over England on Thursday.

He went into the match on 699 wickets and needing just one more to reach the once-unimaginable 700 barrier and finished with seven to lift his career total to 706.
