South Africa thrashed India in the fifth and final ODI on Sunday by nine wickets.
India only managed one win on the tour; the victory against South Africa in the Twenty20 international on December 1.
The Indians lost the five match one-day series 4-0; the first ODI was washed out by rain without a ball being bowled.

In the 1978-1988 series against the West Indies, India won just one game, the third ODI at Eden Gardens, Kolkata, by 56 runs.
Mohinder Amarnath, who scored 70 off 83 balls in India's 222 from 45 overs, was named man of the match. India dismissed the West Indies for 166 in the 42nd over.
