Glenn McGrath who missed the second and the fourth Test due to injury came for the Ashes decider.
Australia had delayed naming their final 11 as McGrath tested his fitness in the nets at The Oval.
The Australian paceman though could not give his team the initial breakthroughs and was hammered for four fours off 10 balls.
