India vs Pakistan, 2nd Test - Day 5

Report | | Ball-by-ball commentary

Leg spinner Anil Kumble captured seven wickets for 63 to bowl India to a 195-run victory over Pakistan in the second Test in Kolkata on Sunday.

The 34-year-old bowler grabbed his seventh 10-wicket haul in Tests to help dismiss Pakistan for 226 after tea on the final day, giving India a 1-0 lead in the three-match series.

Pakistan, resuming on 95 for one, saw their hopes of salvaging a draw evaporate after they lost three wickets for 20 runs.

Kumble struck with the first ball to have vice-captain Younis Khan, who top-scored with 147 in the first innings, stumped by Dinesh Karthik for a second-ball duck.
