The Invincibles reunite

Four of the six surviving members of the 1948 Australian cricket team, captained by Sir Donald Bradman, reunited in Sydney, on Wednesday.

Left to right: Opening batsman Bill Brown, fast bowler Bill Johnston, legendary batsman Neil Harvey and all-rounder Sam Loxton.

They came together for a fund-raising dinner to raise money for the men to attend the first Ashes Test at Lord's next month.

The Invincibles, the greatest sporting team Australia is said to have produced, did not lose a game during their 1948 34-match tour of England.

They believe Ricky Ponting's men will also return unbeaten from this year's Ashes tour.
