England's four foes

The hallmark of all great cricket teams through history is a ripping bowling attack.

Australia's is no different.

The foundation was built on Glenn McGrath's immaculate bowling and Shane Warne's magical leg-spin; but Jason Gillespie and Michael Kasprowicz have been effective to make it an impregable attack.

And if you were to go by the favourites, Australia's bowling line-up for the first Ashes Test, starting on Thursday, will be the same as the one that toured England in 1997.
