Australia vs New Zealand, 2nd ODI
Hayden celebrates after reaching his century.
The left-hander ended his prolonged form slump to score an attacking 114 off 124 balls, including 12 boundaries and two sixes.
"This is the hungriest I have ever been. I've got a lot of fire in my belly and I want to convert that and score a lot of good runs," Hayden had said before the start of the series.
Hayden, dropped from the team earlier this month in the VB series finals, certainly looks hungrier than ever. He was also the top-scorer for Australia in the first match with 71.
