Australia vs New Zealand, 2nd ODI
Australia captain Ricky Ponting hits a boundary during his knock of 53 during the second one-day international against New Zealand at the Jade Stadium in Christchurch, New Zealand, on Tuesday.
Ponting hit six boundaries and two sixes during his 57-ball knock. He was involved in a 99-run partnership for the second wicket with Matthew Hayden to take Australia to safety after the loss of Adam Gilchrist (0).
Australia steamrolled New Zealand by 106 runs to take a 2-0 lead in their five-match series.
