Who did it first?
The first bowler to take 200 Test wickets was Australia's New Zealand-born leg-break bowler Clarrie Grimmett.
He reached the milestone on February 17, 1936, at the Old Wanderers, Johannesburg, in the penultimate Test of his career.
Grimmett, who finished with 216 wickets in 37 Tests for Australia was Wisden Cricketer of the Year in 1931. The 88-year-old passed away on May 2, 1980.
