Indian opener Sourav Ganguly is attended by the team physiotherapist after being hit in the arm by a ball from Daren Powell during the IndianOil Cup tri-series match in Colombo on Sunday.
Ganguly was later taken to hospital and X-ray revealed no fracture but the left-hander was put out of the match.
India warded off a spirited fightback by the West Indies to move into the final with a nail-biting seven-run victory.
