The New Zealanders had a good time facing the United States, making its international debut.
Nathan Astle scored 145 off 151 balls as the Kiwis amassed 347 for 4 in their alloted 50 overs.
They then bundled out the US for a paltry 137 in 42.4 overs. Only four US batsmen could reach double figures as 42-year-old Clayton Lambert top scored with 39 runs.
