The opening day of the Champions Trophy got off to a damp start as both the matches slated for the day were delayed due to rain.
Zimbabwe won the toss and put England in to bat at Edgbaston. But Tinashe Panyangara opened the bowling giving away seven wides in the first over.
It was a good stretching exercise for Simon Taufell after a lazy start.
