India vs Australia, Third Test, Day 1

Damien Martyn made it back-to-back centuries against India before Australia lost three quick wickets late on the opening day of the third Test in Nagpur.

At close of play, Australia were 362 for the loss of seven wickets.

Ganguly was later declared unfit because of a thigh strain. Harbhajan Singh also missed the Test as he was down with gastroenteritis and Yuvraj Singh was replaced by Akash Chopra.

Australia won the toss and elected to bat on a green top wicket.
