Kumble joins 400 club
Anil Kumble celebrates after claiming the wicket of Australia's Simon Katich during day one of the first Test at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore, on Wednesday. It was his 400th Test victim.
The veteran leg spinner is only the second Indian bowler after former all-rounder Kapil Dev (434 wickets) to reach the milestone.
Kumble, who made his debut against England in 1990, claimed his 100th wicket in his 21st Test, 200th in the 47th, 300th in the 66th and now the 400th in his 85th Test.
