Sri Lankan skipper Hashan Tillakaratne tosses the coin as Australian skipper Ricky Ponting looks on. Ponting leading Australia for the first time in a Test match won the toss and elected to bat in the first Test played at the Galle International Cricket Stadium, Sri Lanka.
